BERLIN TECHNO CLUB / VR EXPERIENCE

Let's begin by acknowledging the evident: Berlin is widely renowned for its vibrant party scene.
As affirmed by many revelers, the nightlife in Berlin is not just exhilarating and addictive but also full of surprises. Simultaneously, it can also feel exhausting, crude, surreal, and freaky. Regardless of the specific bars, events, or nightclubs you choose to explore, you're in for an encounter with Berlin's rebellious, hardcore, participatory, and progressive nightlife.
In my twenties, I devoted considerable time to these clubs—places like Berghain, Tresor, Bar 25, Renate, Watergate, Stattbad. However, with the passage of many years, I find myself in my forties, having moved beyond the clubbing scene and some of these iconic clubs are no longer in existence.

Drawing inspiration from Berlin's dynamic club scene, this new virtual reality (VR) experience immerses users in the electrifying yet enjoyable atmosphere of a techno club in the city.
Leveraging cutting-edge VR technology, I meticulously crafted the entire project from the ground up. Beginning with styleframes in Cinema4D, I utilized predominantly 3D scans from Quixel Megascans. The subsequent step involved translating the scene into UE 5.3.
All the clubbers were brought to life using MetaHumans and rigged with Mixamo. The final touch was creating a techno loop using Ableton Live—a delightful experience, considering my hiatus from using this software for over a decade!
